You know....I don't know if I agree with that completely. Sure, people that you were with for a short amount of time and broke your heart COULD have been you soul mate because they change your soul. But what about the one who sticks around and goes through mundane days and horrible sadness and is your friend day after day after day. If you are lucky, the ones that aren't painful and are entirely less dramatic can change your soul too. For the better.
