We all started work and school last week so Saturdays are our only free day to explore now. Yesterday was warm and sunny so we decided to walk around the National Mall and check out the National Gallery of Art, Asian food festival, sculpture gardens, and World War II Memorial. We walked so much that we had to stop twice to rest our feet in different fountains. It was a lovely day.
This fountain becomes an ice skating rink in the winter. Pretty cool.
The water felt so good to my blistering feet.
